Fashion Prints

From 1809 to 1829 the multi talented Rudolph Ackerman produced the Repository  of Arts, Literature, Fashions  journal on a monthly basis from his shop in the Strand. He was a pioneer in introducing  lithographic printing and the magazine demonstrated the quality that could be achieved with this new technology.

 

Antique Maps

The volume consists of an index, a map of Scotland and 61 pages , each page 18 * 7 inches of strip maps on They also name landlords and their houses and outline topographical features. This was essentially Scotland”s first road atlas covering some 3000 miles”. Various engravers. These excellent maps provided the best road guide for many years.
